To Our SLT Community:

Due to the ongoing developments of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have made the very difficult decision to voluntarily close all of our studios until further notice. We tried to stay open as long as we could to offer our staff and our clients a place to maintain a sense of normalcy and stay strong together. However, we have concluded that now is the appropriate time to close our doors temporarily, as we know it is the right thing for our clients and our communities.

If you are booked for an upcoming class, your credit will be returned to your account for future use. All memberships will be automatically frozen for the duration of the closure, and class package expiration dates will be automatically extended. For any questions, please contact your local studio via email.

We are a community, and we will miss you during this time. Take care of yourselves, your loved ones and stay healthy. We will be strong together again soon!

In order to avoid any difficulties joining future SLT at Home classes, please update your Zoom account to Zoom 5.0 before 5/30. If you don''t do this proactively, you will receive a forced upgrade from Zoom.

It's been quite a week but WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER. While we aren't able to come together on the Megaformer, we will continue to virtually bring you workouts that are almost as good as an SLT workout. Don't forget to tune in on Instagram IGTV @sltnyc for some off-the-machine versions of your favorite moves. From 5 minutes to 35 minutes, core-focused to full-body, we've got it all!

SLT Back Bay will officially start offering group classes on Monday 7/13. Classes will have decreased capacity, so pick your spots before they''re gone! Please also make sure to sign our updated waiver before coming to class.

Reminders:

- Please do not arrive at the studio more than 10 minutes (maximum) before your scheduled class time.
- In order to limit the check in process, please check in on your phone via the home screen of our iOS app.
- Temperatures will be taken for both staff and clients upon arrival with contactless thermometers. 
- Please do not bring anyone with you to the studio who is not signed up to participate in class.
- Please keep face masks on until the start of class. 
- Machines are pre-designated based on which you pick when booking your class.
- We will not be utilizing cubbies. We encourage you to bring minimal belongings, which can be stored in the well of the machine.
- Please remember to wipe your machine down both before and after class.
- As always, grip socks will be required. Our Rental Sock program is temporarily suspended. You can either bring your own or purchase a pair from our premium assortment.
- We will not be providing towels, but feel free to bring your own! Same goes for high touch amenities such as deodorant and other toiletries.
- We are allowing drop-ins, however, our Same Day Switch policy is temporarily suspended. 
- Late arrivals will not be permitted into class.

Keeping our SLT staff and community safe is our #1 priority. We are confident that we have put the appropriate measures in place to ensure that we can honor this promise. In case you missed it, you can get familiar with our cleaning policies and more here.

Please know that private sessions in-studio are always an option! Plus, if you are not yet ready to return to the studio just yet, SLT at Home will still be available. We''d love to see you there!

To Our SLT Community:

As there continues to be ongoing news and updates surrounding the development of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to provide you some updates as the health and safety of our community and clients is of the utmost importance to us.

We want you to know that our studios are still open and operating. Additionally, as our classes are moderately-sized and there is sufficient space between machines, all spots will remain available in our classes for the time being.

Please read below for details regarding our efforts to provide a safe and clean space for you during this time.

Class Schedule

• We will be operating on a modified schedule starting on Monday, March 16.

• We encourage clients to review the schedule and sign up in advance to ensure you can attend your desired class.

• This schedule is still subject to change as new information arises.

March Scheduling

• The schedule has been updated through March 22.

• As you all know, our schedule typically opens at 11am on Tuesdays for the following week. Please know that we are going to temporarily hold the release of classes taking place after March 22. We will be in touch with you as soon as the future schedule is posted.

When you arrive at our studio, please remember:

• Wash your hands upon your arrival.

• Use a sanitizing wipe to clean your machine both before and after class, including wiping the knobs/hooks on the springs.

Temporary Class Adjustments

• We will avoid the use of props, including hand weights, rings and poles until further notice.

• Our instructors will assist you with verbal cues and demonstration in an effort to remove hands-on corrections.

Policies

• During this time, we are offering flexibility with our cancellation and membership policies. 

• If you are interested in freezing your membership, please let us know and we are happy to do so.

• If your class packages is set to expire this month, let us know if you would like us to extend your package.

• For any other booking or cancellation assistance, please contact your local studio.

Ongoing cleaning efforts 

• Studio cleanliness is of the utmost importance to us, with or without a virus threat. 

• We clean our spaces and Megaformers thoroughly each day, and provide hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes to clients before and after class.

• All staff has been instructed to wash their hands before and after every class, and to not teach if they are feeling ill or exhibiting any outward symptoms.

The CDC recommends everyday preventative actions to avoid the spread of disease, including washing your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds and not touching your eyes, nose and mouth. If you aren't feeling well, we ask that you please stay home from class.
