Maximum Treatments or Treatment Hours per Day
We''ve been hearing from many of you about this feature, it''s finally here!  You now have the ability to limit the number of appointments or hours per day.  This is applied on a per practitioner basis.

One thing to keep in mind is that the hours booked is based on the treatment time.  So a 60 minute treatment with 15 minutes of recovery time will only count as 60 minutes towards your daily maximum.  Learn more.

SOAP Vault is becoming Noterro!

Last week, we gave you a peek at our biggest update ever --- a new logo and name.  

We got our start with SOAP Notes, but today, our platform can do so much more for your clinic. 

So, it was time for a change. A BIG one. 

Why we changed our name

When people hear "SOAP Vault," they think SOAP Notes. But that's not all we do. The name "Noterro" is a good fit for who we are today: an app that wants to help you streamline every aspect of your clinic. It pays tribute to our core offering without limiting people's understanding of all the other things we can do for their clinic. BONUS: It's pretty fun to say, too.

Our new and improved web app

Soon, our website and web app will be given a fresh coat of digital paint in our new brand colours. In places where you used to see "SOAP Vault" (like our URL and email addresses as well as your booking links, calendar syncs, reminder emails, etc.), you'll see "Noterro." 

There's no rush to update your browser bookmarks and online booking links just yet. We'll redirect you to the new site if you have the old one bookmarked. 

And, coming soon, you'll be able to register a custom subdomain with the name of your clinic (e.g. myawesomeclinic.noterro.com).

We may be going by a different name, but what hasn't changed is our promise to help you streamline your daily operations in the simplest ways possible. 

Here's what life with Noterro still looks like:

• Securely storing your notes and patients files thanks to Noterro's simple, clean interface.

• Sending an appointment reminder to that notoriously forgetful patient (yup, you know the one).

• Setting your hours with the online booking system so every client (even that one that still insists on calling you a "masseuse") can book an appointment from home.

• Bragging to your peers about your awesome clinic management software that has more functionality than their pricier system at less than half the price.

• And more (there's always more!).

So, what's next?

With a change this big, it's going to take some time to get everything switched over to our new branding and messaging. 

You can expect to see the app updated to Noterro by July 7th. At this point, you will be able to login to Noterro using the same email and password that you used on SOAP Vault.  We're working hard to get things changed over without any disruptions to your daily operations.

We've loved helping you run your clinic as SOAP Vault. But the more we thought about it (and heard from users like you), the more we realized that the name doesn't cover ALL the things the app does to make clinic life easier. 

So, we'd like to officially introduce you to Noterro --- the most dependable software your clinic will ever meet.

Don't worry. There's no rush to update your browser bookmarks and online booking links just yet. We'll redirect you and your patients to the new site if you have the old one bookmarked.

Alphabetical order is great, but listing your practitioners this way doesn''t always feature them in the desired order.  You now can choose either alphabetical or a custom order for your practitioners listed on Online Booking.  Learn more

Multiple Professional Identification Numbers, or "PINs" as we''ve been calling them.
We''ve just released PINs.  PINs replace the previous "Professional Registration Number" which was stored on your user account.  Now you''re able to add or remove multiple PINs on your Profile.  These PINs appear on invoices and SOAP notes just like before, but now you can store more than one.  Also, PINs are clinic-specific, so if you use different PINs at different Clinics.  Don''t feel limited by license numbers, you can also use PINs to store your Insurance Provider Number.  Learn More

Wait, what about my previous Professional Registration Number?
Glad you asked!  We''ve migrated the value you had stored in your Professional Registration Number into your first PIN.  One thing to keep in mind, is that PINs now have 2 values, a "Label" (eg: MT#) and a "Professional Identification Number" (eg: 120842-4830).  You''ll want to review your PIN incase you want to make changes now that you have the ability to split it up by Label and Number.

Introducing Service-Level Payment Policies! 

Yup, that''s right, you can now specify a different payment policy based on the service being booked. This is super handy for clinics who want to hold a card, or charge a payment upfront for specific services. For example, you may require a full payment when booking for the service "Initial Appointment",  but no payment is required for your other services.

Invoice Payments Report

Noterro''s Invoice Payment Report was built specifically to help clinics who pay their practitioners based on when they receive payments.  Previously it was a bunch of clicks and "connecting the dots" to accomplish this.  Now with the Invoice Payment Report, you can view invoices which had payments applied to them within a date range, along with a summary of what is on the invoice.  Thanks for the recommendations that came from the many clinics requesting this!

Wait... which location was that at?
It''s been a few weeks since the launch of the Multiple Locations feature, the positive feedback has been amazing, thank you!  With this feature in place, we are now able to release followup features.  Today is the first of that.  You can now filter your calendar by Location.  Previously you could only see Availabilities and Appointments at all locations at once, although that''s still an option.  If you have multiple locations enabled, you''ll see a new fancy menu on your calendar''s sidebar.

Reduce gaps in your schedule. Clustering online booking is here! ??
You can now set your calendar to cluster your online bookings together.  What this means, is that once you have an appointment booked, all subsequent appointment times offered on that day will be immediately before or after the existing appointments.  Creating a cluster of back-to-back appointments, including recovery time.  

Cluster booking is a preference available on a per-practitioner basis.  This means that some practitioners can choose to enable Cluster Online Booking, where others may choose not to.

Big improvements are coming to multiple locations.   In a release targeted for next week, you will be able to add and edit a list of multiple locations within your clinic.  These locations can be used on appointments and availabilities in the form of a dropdown menu selection, rather than a textbox.  We know this has been a cumbersome solution at best, which is why we're making this change.  As a result, we will be sunsetting the current "Location" textbox field on appointments and availabilities.  Not to worry though, transitioning from textbox Locations to structured Locations will be simple, here's a demo video explaining it.  Also, you'll be able to assign locations to patient invoices and transactions.

What if I don't have multiple locations?  
Glad you asked!  There is nothing you'll need to do.  Once fully rolled out, questions related to locations will only be asked if you have more than one enabled location.  You can stop here, but feel free to continue reading if you're interested.

How will I transition from textbox Locations to structured Locations?
It's a simple 2 stage process.  Once we release the first stage, you'll have the ability to add all of your structured Locations.  Then you can set the structured Location on any appointments and availabilities.  Keep in mind that these structured Locations will not yet be in use for Online Booking, this is to give you time to be able to set your locations correctly before the switchover date.  We've made a demo video explaining all of this.

What about the thousands of appointments or availabilities already in my calendar?
Good thinking!  We've created a Migration Tool for this.  Once you've created all your structured Locations, head over to the migration tool and you can bulk assign your textbox Locations to the appropriate structured Location.  Should take less than a minute to do.  Did we mention there is a demo video?

How are patient invoices and transactions affected?
If you have more than 1 enabled location, then you'll have the option of selecting which location the invoice or transaction is for.

To make it even simpler, here is your multiple location switchover checklist, in order:

1. Noterro releases Stage 1.
2. You add all of your locations.
3. You use the migration tool to update all your existing appointments and availabilities.
4. You set the structured location for any newly created appointments or availabilities.

That's it, when stage 2 releases you'll already be ready to go.

Some things are just easier to watch in a video.
