Hello and happy holidays!
We're invading your inbox with good tidings of great joy! And just like a Marvel movie, make sure to stick around to the end because there's something there to make you smile.

The beta is here! So what's new in Statamic 3?
A lot. A whole lot. All year we've been blogging about our progress, highlighting new features, improved workflows, and performance updates. Here are just a few highlights to keep from making this email too long:
|
|
- Data storage repositories allow you store your Statamic data anywhere, from MySQL and Postgres to Firebase. It's still the flat file CMS you love, but with powerful new ways to scale.
- Revisions allow you to track changes, work on drafts and "working copies", schedule updates, and roll back to previous states, all with full history tracking.
- Bard is back and better than ever! Our block-based content editor is now built on top of ProseMirror and writes better markup than ever with a beautifully reimagined UI. Way better than the Mailchimp editor I'm writing this email in.
- It is up to 6x faster than v2, Composer driven, and is ready for PHP 7.4+.
- Statamic 3 is available as a Laravel package that you can install into existing Laravel 5.8+ applications. How neat is that?

We could keep going but will stop there. You can learn more on the v3 development blog, or just jump right into the Statamic 3 Beta Documentation and learn how you can install it and begin exploring. The Github repos are public and we welcome everyone to give it a try!
We don't have a final release date yet. We'll worry about that after the holidays are over. For now, we're focused on collecting feedback, hardening the code, and writing good docs.

2019 in Review
It was a busy year — the best in Statamic's history. We've grown more in the last 18 months than the previous 6 years combined, thanks to each and every one of you.

In March we were in Germany again, spending time with Spiegel and helping them get ready to launch the brand new version of spiegel.de on Statamic 3. Their new site serves millions of articles and assets and replaces a homegrown legacy CMS.
In June we celebrated our 7th birthday. Seven years already! My how the time flies. We have a nice little writeup of our 7 year history on our blog.
In July we were at Laracon, this time as a Gold Sponsor. I had the pleasure of designing the website and got to exercise my retro 8-bit design muscles. We had a Street Fighter II tournament going at our booth and it was a blast to go old school while we chatted content management. My thumbs are still store from the Super Nintendo controllers.
In August and September my wife and I tried to sell our house and move the family to Florida. Through a series of unfortunate events our buyer backed out and we missed the selling season in Upstate New York. It was a rough time, but we got through it, in no small part thanks to the encouragement of the Statamic community. So thank you! We plan to give it another go next year.
In December we plan to take the week off between Christmas and New Years. We'll pop in a few times to make sure there are no fires burning in the support inbox, but otherwise plan to use the time to relax and take a break with our families. We hope you get a chance to do the same!

The Statamic Partner Program
We haven't promoted it too loudly because we wanted to make sure it grew organically, but our Partner Program is doing just that. Growing!
The program incorporates mutually beneficial marketing, direct access to the core Statamic team with a private chat channel, and job leads/project referrals when available.
If you're interested in becoming an official Statamic Partner for 2020, simply reply to this email.

Premium Support
By popular demand, we've recently started offering premium support. We now offer 2 hour response times during business hours (via email or private Discord channel). We can join conference calls and help you close deals. We can also just hang out and chat with you if you're lonely.
If you're interested in premium support for 2020, you can just reply to this email for pricing info. We're happy to offer monthly and annual plans. If your business is looking for write-offs before the end of the year, the timing couldn't be more perfect.

One more thing...
I am excited to announce that when the beta is over and we launch Statamic 3, there will be a special and totally free version available for personal and hobby-type use. Merry Christmas! ????????
