2019 has been quite a year. On our end, it’s always been about you, your business, your ideas--everything that you publish every day. That's why we work hard to ship features every week to make sure that you may publish websites better, retain your audience better, and increase your sales faster.
You might’ve missed the features we’ve released so here they are:
The Audience feature allows you to better manage your users and Strikingly live chat allows you to connect with your site visitors via live chat. If you want to blast ideas or dole out discount codes for your audience, you can send out newsletters from inside your Strikingly account.
This year ended with the release of the Membership feature. You can grant membership, set registration methods, and allow your members to manage their own accounts. Thank you for being adamant about it and for helping us beta test it!
To make it easier for your site visitors to make purchases on your store, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and more currencies was released. Shipping fee by order weight helps you manage your costs, and personalized email notifications to your customers pushes your brand further.
Your stores now comply with the EU directive that require Strong Customer Authentication (PSD2). To comply with local and regionalized law, you can now add Sales Tax for your US users, and EU VAT for your EU clients.
Branding is important for you and fonts are just as important as your logo. And now, you can upload your own font! You can also be more specific with what part of your images get focused on thumbnails using focal points. A lot of you requested to redirect your site visitors to any page you wanted after they fill out your contact form and yes, that’s happening now.
You also wanted to password protect your pages to secure your content from prying eyes--and that was fulfilled.
Your sites now load faster and score higher on Google PageSpeed results. This is a huge bump from the previous scores you get, if you ever get your page tested. Lastly, you can now contact us and speak to us via chat in your native language--English, Japanese, French or Spanish!

We now support taking payments in over 135 currencies when you connect your Simple Store to your Stripe account! Your store is going global.

Now, in your Simple Store’s product list, you can hide specific products from view. This means you can de-list and then “publish” your products once you’re ready to go live!
You can now modify membership page access regardless of your membership registration mode. Customize different pages for different products!
In the membership system, you can now modify a single member's purchase history to grant or deny access to certain pages.

Create a multilingual site by linking up two or more sites in different languages, and show a language switcher with country flags in the navigation menu.
Note: You must create a separate site for each translation, then use this tool to link them together.
Publish your site in two more languages: German and Dutch! You can select these under Basic Info - Site Language. By setting this, the system text in your site (e.g. store buttons, checkout forms, cookie notification) will be shown in a different language.
Note: These new languages only apply to your public site, not the editor.

You can now collect more information from your buyers with the new custom checkout form! Ask for phone numbers, custom messages and/or gift instructions. It's almost the holidays so it's time to level up your store ??
In your store''s checkout flow, you can now set phone or notes as required or optional, and customize the field instruction. For example, you can instruct your customers to write a custom message to print.
Add custom fields to your store's checkout flow. In addition to the normal customer shipping info, you can now collect additional customer info like custom dimensions for materials, or a unique message to print on a shirt.
The Pricing Section is now available for all users, including free users. Showcase your services in a stylish vertical table format!

Accept payments with Alipay and WeChat Pay in your online store, and get paid in your local currency! This payment method is particularly useful for international sellers who want to sell to China. You'll need to connect to Stripe and activate Alipay and WeChat Pay in your Stripe settings.
