A member of our staff will be in touch confirming that we have received your application and will respond with a review of your Privacy Policy (or policies) within the next 60 days to ensure that there are no obvious disconnects with the text or spirit of the Pledge.

In the meantime, we encourage you to thoughtfully review your policies and practices. For more resources regarding relevant laws and regulations on student data collection, we recommend visiting www.ferpasherpa.org. You can also check out our FAQs regarding the Student Privacy Pledge, and of course, the full text of the Pledge can be found at studentprivacypledge.org.

A couple reminders:

• We do not provide a detailed review of company policies, we do not affirm that your policy is in compliance, and we make no assertions to viewers of the studentprivacypledge website that we in any way validate the wording by individual companies. Nor do we dictate any specific terms; we've simply found that occasionally some privacy policies as currently worded do not appear to be consistent with the Pledge, and if so, we will point that out. However, the final determination on wording is solely at your discretion.

• This Pledge is neither intended as a comprehensive privacy policy nor to be inclusive of all requirements needed to achieve compliance with applicable federal or state laws. As with any public statement of practice, by taking the Pledge you may be culpable under relevant laws if you do not adhere to the statements in the Pledge.
