We can be prepared. Support our Disaster Fund today.
Friend in Christ,

None of us knows what the future holds.

That's why we must be poised and ready to respond when disasters strike — both here at home and in communities around the world.

As I write this, the 2019 Atlantic hurricane season has just begun and will run through November. We need your help to prepare for all the unforeseeable emergencies that will arise.
Support our Disaster Fund today and help our local partners worldwide to:
Act swiftly when hurricanes, floods, earthquakes and other disasters occur
Provide emergency aid, support long-term recovery and foster preparedness for the future
Attend to crises that may not make the news headlines, but that disrupt and traumatize communities
Respond where and when we're needed, both in the short term and over the long haul

Our community's support in the wake of 2017's devastating hurricanes — Harvey, Irma and Maria — was instrumental in making sure we could support our church partners in Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

It helped not only in the immediate aftermath when people needed power, water, food and a place to sleep, but in the many months that followed.

So please help ensure we are even better prepared this year — make a donation to Episcopal Relief & Development's Disaster Fund today.

While we cannot predict what will happen in the months ahead, we can be ready and willing to act as soon as we're needed.
Yours faithfully,
Robert W. Radtke,
President & CEO
P.S. As the 2019 hurricane season gets underway, we feel a real urgency to be ready for what lies ahead. Please support our Disaster Fund so we can respond quickly in the places we're needed most.

We promise to always use your donation wisely
