How to count how many of last array elements are equal with the last one of elements? I am not understand enough bash on this time to solve this by self. So I hope for your help. THX

Show log between 2 timestamps

Hello All,

I wrote a script to try and extract logs between 2 timestamps within a log file. However, I cant seem to get that working. The scenario is a user will need to enter the start date time and end date time based on option 2 (inbetween). When this is entered, the user''s input would match the timestamp in the log file and should show those logs between those timestamps. This is what I got so far and quite stuck.

How to convert expanded hex decimal value in fields into CHAR FOR BIT DATA or CHAR type

I have a data-file exported from a db2 table,
Some of the columns in db2 table column type is CHAR FOR BIT DATA.
I can export this db2 table as is and the problem is that the exported data-file contains un-redable characters because of column type is CHAR FOR BIT DATA.

I have two files to compare multiple fields from two files, file1 is key-file which has more than 100,000 records and file2 is data-file which has more than 20 million records.
each file has same fields (columns) but different column position. and comma (,) delimited.

Remove duplicate lines: code not working

I am trying to remove duplicate lines in a text file. Below is sample data:

I found a number of websites that indicate the code below should work; however, using the code below, I the output file looks exactly the same as the input file. Can someone please help?
