With less than 2 weeks until the opening night of Peter Pan, pantomime rehearsals have begun! On Monday 11th, the professional cast of this year's panto joined the staff of Theatre Royal for a meet and greet and the first read through of the script. You think Neverland is magical? Our Greene Room Bar was transformed as, sat round in a circle, the cast joked back and forth and brought their characters to life. A couple of long days of plotting and rehearsals later and the Young Chorus joined the cast! A talented group of 16 local young performers will perform alongside the professional cast and under the direction of Karen Simpson and Marcus Romer in what is sure to be a truly magical production.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR PANTO POSTER COMPETTION WINNERS |
Under 9 Winner: Ailsa Owens (Age 5) |
Over 9 Winner: Isaac Withers (Age 10) |
A huge thank you to everyone that entered our Panto Poster Competition. We had over 30 stunning entries which made shortlisting and picking a winner really difficult this year. A shout out to South Lee School too, their year 3 class created some incredible, vibrant (and extremely glittery) posters. However, we are delighted to announce that our winners this year are Ailsa and Isaac.
Don't forget to keep an eye out for next year's competition and you could be in with the chance of winning a family ticket to the panto, a signed programme, a photo with the cast, a professionally printed version of your poster and your poster on display at the theatre throughout the panto's run, just like Ailsa and Isaac did!
