Dear ,
The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) approved by the European Parliament in May 2016 and applicable as from May 25th of 2018, will bring a new European legal framework in which new obligations are added with considerable impact on the life of organizations.
Tietennis.com keep data from you as a registered player and it can also store data on the behalf of an organization or a company. In the first scenario we act as a Data Controller and we are responsible for the retrieved data, on the second scenario we act as a Data Processor as we store and process data for someone else, which could be your Federation or Local Club.
We are strongly committed to ensure that everything is transparent and we have been working deeply to be compliant with all this new legislation, by doing several internal training actions, improving procedures and impact assessment on the processing of data, safety practices and related documentation, in accordance to GDPR requirements.
Tiesports has prepared several new built-in tools and procedures, which helps all Clubs and Organizations which operates on our platform as Data Processors, to be also compliant with the new GDPR, by having the same level of security and control as we have.
