During the cold months of winter a trout's diet is dominated by sub surface feeding activity, while there is nothing better than seeing noses against a backdrop of snow, often times to find success anglers have to dive down below the surface.

BEAD WEIGHT
Building the weight directly into your flies like many of our Signature Patterns like the Two Bit Midge, Spanish Perdigon, or Thread Frenchie are great ways to get down while matching the hatch. For anglers who are tying their own flies building the appropriate weight into the pattern becomes a huge advantage with low clear water.
