We are a Community United.

This has become our mantra, our motto, and our call to action.

Since the pandemic began in March, we have seen our community come together in ways we never imagined possible to support one another. From our volunteers donating their time to be on the frontlines to individuals and our corporate partners who have generously donated to meet the immediate needs of those who''ve been impacted most - we couldn''t be more grateful for you.

Together, we are defining the power of a Community United.

This summer, we also called on you to stand united with us against racial injustice. This year has shone a light on the many challenges we have been working to address in our community. It also propelled us to step up in new ways and to continue learning and evolving in order to break down systemic barriers. I invite you to read our full statement and learn more about our social justice and racial equity work.

To all those who want to understand how to do more, to affect change, and to be part of the short- and long-term solutions our community needs right now, I also invite you to learn more about how you can join us in supporting our neighbors. United we are rising. Rise with us!

Warmly,

Christine Benero
President and CEO, Mile High United Way

A Community United: Our Covid-19 Response

We have pivoted our programs and increased our capacity to address the growing needs of our community. As we remain part of the first-line response in helping those impacted by COVID-19 access critical support, we cannot thank everyone who has stepped up to offer your support enough.

Watch to Laura''s Story

Thank you to all those who attended our Women United Luncheon
"In One Word"

On October 1, we brought together over 1,000 people to hear inspiring stories of hope and perseverance. We heard from Laura, who shared her life-changing experience with Mile High United Way''s 2-1-1 Help CenterWe also heard moving messages of love and solidarity from our keynote speaker, Gayle King, and our Frances Wisebart Jacobs Award winner, Debbie Trujillo.

By supporting the Women United Initiative, together, we can employ programs and services that provide academic support, workforce skills, employment opportunities, basic needs support, and so much more for thousands of women and girls in Metro Denver.
