With that said, we are looking ahead to 2021 to continue USA Cycling''s history of providing great National Championships across all cycling disciplines. With a priority on the safety of all involved at our races, all dates and locations will be subject to change.

Riley Sheehan is a 20-year-old, road cyclist from Boulder, Colorado. He is currently on Sojasun, a french Dn1 team, and racing collegiate road for the Colorado Mesa University Cycling team where he is pursuing a degree in Marketing Communications. We got the opportunity to chat with him and ask him questions about Sojasun, his collegiate team, and more!

Every entry to win the Cannondale/Palace/Rapha bike ridden by EF Pro Cycling at the 2020 Giro d''Italia supports efforts to establish cycling programs at Historically Black Colleges & Universities, and Tribal Colleges and Universities.

Cross-country mountain bikers will have the chance to compete in these internationally ranked races spanning short track, cross-country, and marathon mountain bike racing. The ProXCT is comprised of the top mountain bike events in the U.S. and track the standings for elite riders. Most events will also have amateur categories providing an environment for amateurs to race the same courses as our Olympians. Individual elite series champions are crowned at the conclusion of the calendar.

USA Cycling's SafeSport Recognized Club program allows clubs to demonstrate their commitment to creating a safe and positive environment for all club members through implementing, enforcing and monitoring USA Cycling's SafeSport Program. Submit your club for the SafeSport Recognition program before December 30th, 2020. We will review and award recognition badges by the end of January 2021. Thank you for your ongoing efforts to create a safe and enjoyable environment for our riders to excel!

Riding for their professional trade teams, Sepp Kuss and Neilson Powless will make their Tour De France debut, while Tejay van Garderen will be making his ninth appearance. All of these riders have grown up through the USA National Junior Team and worked with our Development programs in the Under-23 Class. Sepp even raced on the Mountain Bike National Team before he signed his first professional contract on the road. These programs rely heavily on our Foundation to provide support for riders like these three.

Maddie Godby is on the Track Olympic Long Team and has competed in track sprint cycling for over 10 years. This discipline is very dependent on technical ability as you are racing at 45 mph on a bike without brakes, within inches of other riders. Embracing the intersection of sport and advocacy, USA Cycling and PeopleForBikes are pleased to announce a new partnership aimed at better advocating for American cyclists by sharing resources, expertise and influence.

The USA Cycling Foundation has restarted the Trail Tune-up Grant program as a component of the new DirtFund. Grants will fund trail improvements for racing, training and recreational riding, and to build trails from scratch. 3% of every DirtFund gift will be directed to the Trail Tune-Up grant Fund.
