Inspired by classic training wear, incorporating modern fabrics, fit and features, it quickly became favourite piece here at Chimp HQ. I''m happy to say our Chimpeurs felt the same, with reviews and feedback we were very proud to receive on release.

After a few weeks now of releasing all our new products that were delayed during this crazy year, I''m excited to finally launch two new kit collections that were influenced by that time. A period of lockdown when I ditched the screens for a bit to go back to analog production while staying close to home and enjoying the local loops. 

The results were Papercuts and Lanes, a celebration of lo-fi methods on hi-tech fabrics.

Born from a desire to create something joyful from analog methods, we hired Creative Directors Mini Chimp 1 & 2 and got experimenting. Lo-fi pattern production with hi-tech fabrics, we hope this kit will bring you many smiles and miles.

The Lanes Collection

Inspired by the OS map dots and dashes we seek out while plotting to get off the beaten path and go explore. The broken lines through mountains and countryside demarcating the lanes, rocky farm tracks, peat bogs, fire roads and singletrack that constitute an Irish 'gravel' ride. The joy in connecting these up into favourite routes while getting gloriously lost in-between.

Sperrins Thermal Jersey

Victory Chimp is based at the foot of the Sperrin Mountains, Northern Ireland. Our designs are dreamed up in this wild and beautiful landscape and worked out back in the studio. This pattern is a tribute to our favourite climbs. A percentage of each sale of this design will be donated to local environmental activist groups working to protect our natural heritage for future generations.

Stampen Thermal Jersey

Stampen is our team kit for 2020/21. Inspired by Belgian cycling passion and our two favourite aspects of the sport, the cobbled classics and cyclocross. Heard on both the road and mud-filled course, "Stampen!" (we''re reliably informed by our Flemish collaborator) loosely translates as "Pedal like f-k!".

Hope you are keeping well and, like us, are finding peace on the bike through these mad times. As restrictions lift we reconnect with our favourite climbs and cohorts, re-embracing adventure, if not our fellow adventurers just yet. Still, it feels very good to get out and explore again.

Since face coverings also look set to become part of our new routines for some time, we''ve fully restocked all our designs across adults and kids sizes. Still in the same super-comfortable, sustainable eco-fabrics and still supporting key workers.

With your help, we''ve been able to donate over 3000 masks to health centres, care homes, NHS depts, schools, food banks, delivery depots, social care, transport workers and a host of other people who looked after us all during lockdown and continue to do so.

 A huge thank you to all our Chimpeurs for helping us make a difference.
 

Summer 2020 Plans

A big thank you also for all your support for our small business and patience during this time. Many will have noticed we''ve now low/no stock on just about everything on the site (excluding face masks and our new Out There Collection). Lockdown threw our release schedule out the window, but I''m pleased to say all our factories are now back up and running safely and, although our Spring/Summer 2020 collection is probably now more Summer/Autumn 2020, we have lots of new pieces in the pipeline that we can''t wait to show you, as well as much anticipated restocks of popular lines. Let''s get this show back on the road!
