Travel Vouchers Go Live at 10am TODAY!

This is great news! What is even better news is that Yarra Valley and the Dandenong Ranges are included in the usage area in the 120 000 voucher giveaway. Thank you team at the Victorian government!

Steps:

3. Have a cracking good summer because, well, Victoria - you deserve it!

Quick Facts:

Reimbursement of $200 on submitting $400 of receipts on Eligible Expenses.
3 Rounds of 40,000 each to spread it out.
Victorians of 18+ only
Spent in Regional Victoria inc. Morn. Peninsula and Yarra Ranges Regions
2 nights in paid accommodation.
Only one Voucher can be claimed per household across all rounds
Vouchers are 'first-come-first-served' basis
Unclaimed vouchers will expire at the end of the round of issue and recycled.
The Voucher is non-transferable.
Can be applied to existing bookings
No food and drink unless part of a tour

Does your booked activity qualify to be refunded?

Paid accommodation, which means serviced apartments, backpacker and hostels, bed and breakfasts, cabins or caravans in holiday parks, caravan and camping site fees, cottages, farm stays, private holiday rentals, houseboats, motels, hotels, resorts, retreats and lodges

Paid tours and experiences, which means tour operators that offer regularly organised tours with a leisure-tourism focus, organised by experienced guides. These may include a personal host and/or commentary. For example, a boat cruise, guided walk, bus tour, air tour, agri-tourism, food and wine tour, sport tour, outdoor and adventure tour

Entry fees to regional attractions, which means places/areas of interest that offer a distinct visitor experience to the leisure tourist such as museums, water parks, local attractions, theme parks etc.

The vouchers will be up for grabs in rounds.

Registration for the first round of 40,000 vouchers opens on December 11 at 10am for travel between December 12 and January 22.
Registration for the second round opens on January 20 for travel between January 27 and April 1.
Registration for the third round opens on March 30 for travel between April 6 and May 31.

Victorian residents over the age of 18 are eligible to apply, but each household is limited to one voucher. To redeem it, you must spend a minimum of two nights in paid accommodation, and prove you have spent $400 on that accommodation, paid tours and experiences, or entry fees to regional attractions.

For one month only from 28 February to 28 March, Wine Down Pop Up is a limited-time vineyard escape that sees upcycled containers set up at Seville Estate in the Yarra Valley (followed by two other locations) in Victoria.
The rooms feature high-end finishes, a luxury bathroom, a minibar with a selection of great produce from the local region, breakfast hamper, bed with luxuriously soft linens, Australian made toiletries, a private deck, and an electric BMW i3 to explore the region.

?New for 2020 is the Open Farm Day Camp Out. Enjoy an evening in the great outdoors and experience the mystery and beauty of Hurstbridge, by camping out in the paddock on Saturday 21 March. Dear Oliver
As you will know, Stage 3 restrictions have been re-instated for six weeks in Metropolitan Melbourne from 11.59pm on Wednesday 8 July. Read more about the areas covered by these restrictions here. So we return to a ''familiar'' place where staying at home is the best thing we can do for our families, our communities and our region.

Our Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges businesses, cafes and restaurants are busy re-adjusting to these new-old conditions. There are some wonderful virtual experiences coming up, and the world of online shopping has never looked better! Check out The Regional Pantry.

And of course there are the cellar doors, the restaurants and the cafes that provide us with delicious local fare and keep our spirits high. Takeaway and home delivery options have been, and will continue to be offered from all your favourites and we encourage you to support local whenever you can.
