Q&A
One at a time.
1) What''s the deal with this "Dump Truck"? Every Tuesday and Friday, the Dump Truck music song series delivers a new track to your door. These are not the pristine, glossy products you''re used to from We Are Scientists. Rather, in the spirit of these strange times, they are a rare look under the hood of our high-performance machine. That is to say, they''re pretty raw; legitimately half-baked. Dog shit. Each one has a spark, though, that makes it special - at least to us. We believe you''ll laugh either with us or at us, and laughter is an important stress-reducer.
The sixth track in the Dump Truck series drops today, and is available on all streaming services. Here are links to all 6 tracks:
- Back on the Weed - Jesus Takes a Keytar Solo - Dad Wars - Carrot Snout - T.U.B. - 2days7hrs
2) Somebody said about a "Dumpster Dive"? It''s our new podcast. Each episode so far is sort of organized around a Dump Truck track, but that won''t always be the case. (The Dump Truck song is played during the podcast.) Also, we don''t usually talk about the song much. Some things we do talk about are: where commercial airplane pilots poo, horror movies, the nature of knowledge, the innocence of Shawn Mendes, which body odors are offensive, intoxication as inspiration, the relationship between "tubing" and "tubbing," and racist undertones at pizza joints. So much more, too, guys; so much more.
Dumpster Dive is in all the podcast places, we think (let us know if we left out your preferred pod-pusher). Here are links to a few popular options:

*** If you like Dumpster Dive and want to help spread its healthful contagion, or if you like us and want to make us think our hobby is more successful than it really is, please rate it and/or hit that subscribe button. Needless to say, this will cost you nothing, which is why we''re not offering to pay you to do it.
3) You guys are famous live-streamers now? Yes. Among the hundreds of musicians and other public figures polluting the internet with live feeds from their living rooms over the last couple weeks, our daily live-streams on Instagram have achieved a special notoriety among the cognoscenti. Tongues are wagging all over town, and they''re telling a tale of two great pals spreading joy and music and happiness during dark times; many are saying these two guys should be elected president and vice-president of somebody''s country. Hey, we''ll see. In the meantime, we''re going to pare back our schedule some so that we can focus on ramping up quality. Starting next week, catch our live-stream Mondays and Thursdays at 4:15pm EST (21:15 BST / 13:15 PST / 06:15 AEST / 22:15 CEST). NB: We will be streaming this afternoon.
