Dear Wildlife Watcher
?
As the seasons change, so do we! We’re very excited to announce that the Wildlife Watch website will soon be getting a shiny new update.

What will happen?
You will still be able to use the Wildlife Watch site as normal for now. In June, it will change to the new-look site overnight. We’re not sure yet which day this brilliant transformation will take place, but it's likely to be some time in the middle of the month.

How will it be different?
It will be much easier to find all your favourite species, habitat information and fun activities. We’ve been working hard to make sure it will look awesome! It will still be full of stories, wildlife facts, spotting sheets and inspiration you’ve told us you like to see. However, it will no longer have a log in area for you to post blog entries for your nature diary. The Watch Awards will also be taking a break whilst we work on making them even better.

What do I do now?
If you log in to the website and want to keep your past blog entries, we recommend you copy and paste them into a word document to keep on your own computer, as soon as possible, because these will no longer be available once the website changes.

If you’re in the middle of your Hedgehog Award, we recommend that you try to finish your award and download your certificate by the end of May. If you’re not going to be able to do this, please email us at watch@wildlifetrusts.org and we’ll help you out.

If you would be interested in writing a blog for the new website; about the wildlife you spot or the Watch activities you try out, get in touch and we can send you more information!

We’re currently cocooning the website before it emerges like a beautiful butterfly, but if you have any questions in the meantime, please drop us a line.

Stay wild!
