The inaugural class of our NewVenture 50+ entrepreneurial bootcamp was filled with innovators, all ages 50+, who in just ten sessions were able to bring their businesses from idea to action plan. Deadline Extended! Calling all 50+ future moguls

There''s still time to apply for the second cohort of NewVenture 50+, our entrepreneurial bootcamp for women ages 50+, offered in partnership with WE NYC and NYC SBS. This comprehensive course takes you from business idea to action plan in six weeks, covering everything you need to know to launch a profitable small business in any sector; apply by 10/4.

New: Help for Small Businesses

It's National Women's Small Business Month, so here are some useful resources and new funding opportunities for female founders. NYC''s newly launched Small Business Resource Network offers one-on-one technical assistance and business recovery support to small businesses in all five boroughs. The Female Design Council is offering $2,500 financial grants for emerging Black women designers; apply by 10/23.

Get Free Career Help

New York Public Library is offering free virtual career and resilience coaching services to help you make strategic moves, no matter your career level. Apply before 10/8 for Queens Public Library''s new online Basic Entrepreneurship Program, designed for entrepreneurs with a new business or business idea. Brooklyn Public Library''s Business & Career Center has many resources for job seekers, from workshops on finding a new gig to resume and cover letter help. Career Discovery NYC is a new platform from the NYC Dept. of Small Business Services that allows you to skill build and train for careers in tech, healthcare, or media.
