Ok, the truth is there isn't any formal "National Marshmallow Day". which is crazy! But today is Jenn's birthday, and as Wondermade's co-founder and the inventor and recipe perfecter of some of the world's finest marshmallows, her birthday seems like the perfect day to celebrate marshmallows. So we're declaring October 1 to be National Marshmallow Day.

Plus, October is the perfect time for marshmallows. The weather is perfect for toasting mallows over a fire, or melting a marshmallow or two in a hot cup of cocoa. or even coffee! Plus, it's still close enough to summer - especially here in Florida! - that they're still awesome toppings for your ice cream sundaes!

Hey Wonder-friends! I hope September is off to a great start for you! Here in Florida, school's already underway. For all you crazy states who wait until Labor day, it's just around the corner. And it sure looks different for all of us than any school year we've had!

So. we've got some specials to sweeten the start of the year.

First, today through Labor Day, we're doing deals in-store and online for *all* school staff. Teachers, principals, guidance counselors, bus drivers, custodians. we want to say a big thank you for what you do!

We've been thinking over the summer about ways to show gratitude and giving away ice creams seems like a great place to start. We've also thought about groups of people who we'd want to appreciate - with the new school year underfoot, teachers and school staff seem like the right place to start. But we're also planning to honor medical workers, first responders, civic employees and postal workers in the weeks ahead. If there's another group we should include, email back!
